As an employee of Santander Consumer Bank you are from 01.02.2022 covered on business and leisure travel through AIG. The insurance covers all employees including spouse/partner. Children with the same home address as the employee are covered until the age of 21.

Report a claim

In the event of a claim the Insurer must be informed without any undue delay.  To enable us to process your claim quickly and efficiently it is important that you:

- Fill out the claim form accurately and with as much information as possible.

- Attach all supporting documentation that the claim form requests.

- Copy of the Police Report shall be enclosed for relevant claims.

- Remember to retain a copy of all documents sent to AIG.

AIGs Travel Insurance for Santander Consumer Bank

Cover for medical expenses and assistance on travel. 

Cover for trip cancellation and trip curtailment.

  • The insurance includes personal belongings/luggage, i.e. personal property.
  • Baggage delay – no warranty time on leisure travel

The insurance cover overnight accommodation. The insurance will compensate necessary and documented accommodation expenses up to the sum insured. 

The insurance covers the legal liability for the injury/damage caused by the insurance as a private individual according to the law in the individual country.

The insurance covers the cost of legal assistance/legal aid and compensation by up to the amount specified in the Certificate of Insurance.
